Xbox - The Birth of A Gaming Superpower
The first Xbox game was called, Halo: Combat Evolved. Microsoft bought it from games developer, Bungie, in 1999. In May 2000, Bill Gates, revealed Xbox at the E3 Games Developer Conference in California. Over 13 million copies of Xbox were sold that first year. That was 2003. Xbox 360 debuted in 2005, By 2006 there were over 50 million downloads. Gaming Superpower Microsoft released another new model of Xbox 360 in 2010 called Xbox 360 S. Xbox One was launched in 2013. And in the final quarter of 2015, Microsoft upped the ante once again with the upgrading of the Xbox one to the new Xbox One 1TB. The Xbox One 1 TB provides more hard drive capacity to store and play many more games. It is truly the next generation of gaming.
